meet the face behind it all
my passion belongs to the flowers, the trees, and the living earth beneath our feet. i believe true happiness is found in the simplest places. for me, it lives in the smell of the rain on dry dirt, the soft texture of a leaf and the bright pop of new blossoms..
my mission is simple: cultivate spaces, stories and blooms that remind that remind us to live simply, walk.gently on the land, and appreciate the wild, messy beauty of Mother Earth.
who else am i? i am a doting mother to two wonderful children: a son and a daughter, being their mom is my greatest joy and my truest purpose. i'm a paralegal graduate who balances the rules of the world with the wild freedom of nature - law graduate by day, barefoot garden fairy by night. i'm a proud mama to three beautiful fur babies: one loyal, goofy chocolate lab and two loving cats who offer the the truest, most soulful companionship.
in my spare time, you can find me lost in a great book with a beautiful soundtrack playing the background

how crescent florals came to be
although i started my very first home garden 8 years ago, my love for plants and flowers started as a little girl, where I would wander the beautiful gardens of my great aunties and elders. grandma always taught me it was important to help care for those who came before me and so, i would often time help her - and part of this meant that i found myself outside doing yard work. i would pull weeds, prepare and amend the soil, and of course - plant annuals and care for perennials. there was always new life and new things blooming and I couldn't help but fall in love.
as an adult, it started with a small dahlia patch at our first home. that patch began to grow due to the joy of endless discovery - i fell completely in love with them because they are the ultimate kaleidoscope of the garden world, offering an endless world of colour, shape, and size that never gets boring. dahlias were my gateway plant. the moment i successfully split my first tuber and watched a single root multiply into a sea of gorgeous summer blooms, i was completely hooked on propagation. what began as a love affair with one beautiful flower quickly grew into a life calling, rooting me firmly in the soil as a full-fledged garden farmer.
thank you so much for being a part of my journey, and thank you for being here! :)
i am incredibly grateful to have you here and i hope the words and green spaces you find here ground you, inspire you, and connect you back to the earth.
XO, stacey
